The building, a 1960s infill among Grade II listed Georgian townhouses, has been redesigned by Bureau de Change to reconnect it to its historical roots as a workshop for Huguenot silk weavers in Spitalfields. The ground floor houses the entrance, with workspaces on the first and second floors. A signature timber staircase, central to the design, links the floors and serves as a social and functional hub, with bespoke timber panels inspired by weaving techniques and tools. These panels offer multifunctional uses such as shelving, seating, and lighting.

The first floor features creative team workspaces, a boardroom, a reading nook, and an open-plan kitchen leading to an outdoor terrace. The second floor accommodates the office workspaces, each uniquely decorated with bold colour palettes. The building, originally in disrepair, was stripped back to its core, preserving key elements like the flagstone floor and integrating eco-friendly materials like Marmoleum flooring. The vibrant new entrance with geometric tiles and original timber doors marks the arrival at Somesuch’s new headquarters.
